I love travelling and exploring with family and friends. True crime is my thing so if I'm not behind a camera I'm under a throw on the sofa with a glass of wine and a serial killer on the screen.

Wedding dress emergency? I'll fix it

I’m not your typical photographer — I’m your best friend for the day.

My journey as a photographer started out during my own wedding planning. I knew that once the day was over, the photos and memories would be all I had left. Years of planning, wrapped up in a single day that passes far too quickly. I wanted photos that brought me back to the joy, the emotion and the moments. I guess this is when I truly understood what photographs really mean to me. Then I had my children and my love for photography was cemented even more deeply.

Now, I get to create art, and preserve memories for couples on one of the most important days of their lives - and It's honestly the greatest privilege. I get to witness the full emotional journey: the nerves just before walking down the aisle, the finally! after the first kiss, and the quiet “this is what we needed” moment when you make it to the dance floor together.

Of course, some wedding days have their hiccups.

I've removed blood from a wedding dress 5 minutes before the ceremony, sewn buttons back on, helped countless grooms with their buttonholes (practice boys!), found lost items, bandaged injuries and cleaned up broken glass. But that's what I'm there for. I'll listen when you need an ear, I'll give calm guidance when it's needed, and be a steady presence throughout the day — so you can focus on what truly matters.
